You have elected new officers and board members for 2012. They are:
President - Janis Anderson
Vice President - Mike Carlson
Treasurer - Mira Williams
Secretary - Sharon Gelhaus

Lawrence Martin

The proposed amendments and additions to the YRHA ByLaws passed.
Article V Section 3: Notice of any special meeting shall be given at least two (2) days previous thereto by written notice delivered personally or mailed to each director or by e-mail or by telephone conversation.
Article V Section 3: Meetings of the board of directors may be conducted in person or by telephone conference call or by other electronic means including online computer meetings. Votes on issues that arise between board meetings may be taken by telephone or by email or other electronic means.
Article VI Section 2: Notice will be given by mail to each member at least ten days (10) days prior to such meeting or via email ten (10) days prior to meeting.

Membership applications for 2012 are on the website in the Membership Benefits & Forms section. Remember, in order to qualify for YRHA year-end awards and to ride for the YRHA Affiliate, you must be a member. Also, if you think you might win a class at one of the YRHA Slides this summer, which qualifies you for the saddle drawing, keep in mind that only YRHA members (owners and riders) are eligible to win the saddle.
