A National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Regional Clinic in the Mountain Region will be held on July 24th & 25th at Skyline Ranch in Carbondale, CO. NRHA Professional Casey Hinton will be holding a clinic to benefit reiners of all ages and experience levels.
Casey Hinton from Whitesboro, TX, is coming off an impressive 2009 season. Hinton was the 2009 NRHA Futurity Open Reserve Champion and the American Quarter Horse Association World Champion in Senior Reining, a title he has earned several times. He is also no stranger to the Mountain Region as he won the Rocky Mountain Reining Horse Association (RMRHA) Futurity and Stallion Stakes in 2009 as well. Hinton has over $488,000 in NRHA Lifetime Earnings.
The clinic will help raise funds for the National Reining Horse Youth Association (NRHyA). It is designed to help anyone who is interested in learning more about reining horses, the Reining business and the NRHA. The one-on-one training that participants receive is tailored to each individual's needs. The clinic consists of two one-day clinics giving participants the opportunity to attend either or both days as they prefer.
All the proceeds go to support the NRHyA scholarships, programs and youth activities. The cost is $250 for youth riders participating in both days or $150 for one day. Adults are encouraged to participate with an entry of $450 for both days or $250 for one day. Auditors are welcome to attend for $25 per day. For more information or to register for the clinic, please contact Manager of the Reining Horse Sports Foundation and Youth Programs Brian Bendele at (405) 946-7400 ext. 130 or bbendele@nrha.com
